Jennifer is a journalist based in North London. Her day job is as the Networking and Telecoms Editor of Computer Weekly, whilst at night she looks to music and comedy reviews, as well as political ramblings.
She began her journalism career working on the daily Nottingham Evening Post in 2007, moving to work on several weekly titles in London and Derbyshire.
Jennifer then moved into technology journalism, beginning as a Staff Writer on IT Pro back in 2009. She worked her way up through the ranks, going through Senior Staff Writer and Assistant News Editor, before being made News Editor less than two years later in March 2011.
She joined Cloud Pro as Deputy Editor in June 2011 to help build the launch title’s reputation, managing to successfully make it well known in the field and to become the UK’s leading cloud website.
After going freelance in January 2012, Jennifer began writing across a number of national print, business technology and consumer titles, including The Telegraph, SC Magazine, Search Storage and Time Out.
In April, she took on the role of Networking and Telecoms Editor at Computer Weekly.
Jennifer has an in-depth knowledge of the music industry, having reviewed live gigs, festivals and CDs on a freelance basis for 10 years. As a promoter, Jennifer also made strong contacts in the field and is still able to obtain excellent interviews and feature pieces for the music press.
Jennifer studied at Nottingham Trent University and did her post graduate NCTJ in Newspaper Journalism at Lambeth College.
